Elias and Melandri

i talked to the jim, the cornerworker about the strange relationship that seems to have developed between these two riders. whenever one found himself behind another the leader would let off the gas. i saw it a few times but thought melandri was having trouble. jim, being a racer himself, was like "no no, he doesn't want to be the donkey showing elias around". both riders were at laguna last year, so they are not rookies here, but it's obvious that there is a fairly strong rivalry between them.
