MotoGP 2006 @ Laguna Seca

The 2006 RedBull USGP at Laguna Seca. Last year's event was incredible for it was the first time MotoGP machines raced in America, and 11 years since the last GP race of any sort state side. This year the race was pivotal in the 2006 championship itself (2005 was a runaway year for Rossi) and it delivered a race as unique as befitting the crazy season we've had so far.

The weekend was puncuated by intense heat, but, aside from some minor incidents, was once again brilliant and solidifies my belief that "motorcycle people are good people"...

Big Kudos to the Laguna Seca organizers who did an incredible organizational overhaul to make the weekend better for the fans.
